What makes Avalbl unique over job searching?

You can think of Avalbl as reverse job searching. Recruiters are usually very keen on exactly what sort of candidate they are looking for. The process of reviewing many candidates is exhausting and wasteful in terms of time and resources. Avalbl helps by giving recruiters the ability to search for anyone with specific skills, criteria, location and other details so they can reach their ideal candidate efficiently.

How does Avalbl help someone looking for full-time work?

Recruiters will find you based on your skills and information, reducing the time and stress you expend filling out forms, researching possible jobs and sending resumes and portfolios.

How does Avalbl help someone looking for freelance work?

One of the biggest obstacles in quickly booking skilled talent for any project is that it is often difficult to know if someone is actually available to work. Avalbl not only allows recruiters to find exactly the skills they want in someone but to follow and keep track of those users, speeding up the process to connect and book them.

Is Avalbl only for those in creative fields?

No Avalbl is for everyone. Whether you are a cook, an accountant, a doctor, a musician, a teacher or an astronaut, you can list any and all skills you have that may be relevant. Currently we only have one "job sector" category as most people primarily work within one category but we may consider adding multiple categories in the future for anyone with multiple professions.

 

How do I set my status?

You can set your status by going to your profile page and either selecting a new status or simply clicking on "refresh status" which will keep your current status and reset you to the top.

Does Avalbl cost anything?

Avalbl is free to everyone while we test this beta release. Eventually we will introduce a premium plan which will retain the unlimited contacts, messaging and organization features. Anyone not on the premium plan will convert to a free plan which only allows you to update your profile and status so you are still discovered but will not allow you to add other contacts. These are always subject to change and more features will roll out both in free and paid subscriptions.

Is Avalbl only in the U.S.?

Currently Avalbl is for the U.S. only but we are planning to role out releases in other countries in the near future.

Is there an app version?

Currently we are just testing the website version in this early phase. A fully featured app is in the works and eventually you'll be able to use Avalbl more easily from your mobile device.
 

What sort of features are in store for future releases?

As much as we'd love to share all of our plans, we want to remain nimble and focus on our core purpose at this time. However, we have an arsenal of surprises, features and plans in store for Avalbl that will truly set it apart from competing tools and methods so definitely stay tuned!
